What are the Riverway’s Buildings and the Occupying Businesses? The Riverway owns the following facilities and buildings which house the following businesses. All
of these businesses are seasonal unless
otherwise noted.
Marzelli's Sunapee Harbor Sweet Shop & Cafe
– Located at 72 Main St, across from the
Anchorage Restaurant. Open daily serving
breakfast, lunch and dinner from 7am - 6pm (Fri
& Sat until 7pm, Sunday until 3pm). Featuring baked goods,
sweets, ready-to-eat meals, and homemade gelato.
Open year round.
Pete’s Shed
- Located at 31 River Road, the newly built
and finished building currently houses two new
businesses. From Sept until mid-June, children
from around the area can be seen enjoying
lessons from the instructors with the Jenkins Dance & Gymnastics
Center. There they teach ballet, pointe, tap, jazz and
gymnastics. Located on the lower level is a
wonderful a new shop with the young in mind -
Tattered Pages. Open Wed 3pm - 6 pm, Thurs - Sat
10am - 5 pm, Sun 12pm - 5 pm or by appointment,
year
round. Books and fun gifts are just a few of the
items that will interests any child.
The Anchorage - A full service restaurant on the water. Accessible by car, foot and boat! Plus, the hottest nightlife in the Sunapee Region, featuring live entertainment every weekend.
Open from late April until Columbus Day.
The Quack Shack – an old fashioned ice cream parlor located on the newly built pavilion, serving
Gifford's hard ice cream, soft ice cream and those delightful ice cream concoctions that we all remember and find so hard to resist. You can also quench your thirst with a fresh squeezed lemonade.
Open mid-June until Labor Day.
The Wild Goose Country Store – A charming country store offering an eclectic selection of gifts, collectables, old fashioned penny candy, and toys, complete with a covered porch and a checkers board.
Open mid-May until Columbus Day.
Harborside Trading Company – It is the home of Sunapee Cruises, offering boat tours of the lake, Sunapee logo clothing, marine accessories, cards, and gifts.
Open mid-May until Columbus Day.
Lakeside Treasures – carefully chosen clothing for lakeside wear and unique articles of interest to decorate a home on the lake or elsewhere, or be a fitting gift for your host and hostess if a visitor to the lake.
Open mid-May until Columbus Day.
Sargent's Marine – Outfitter for individual and family water sports.
Sunapee Harbor’s Gas Dock operation - serving the needs of boaters who enjoy Lake Sunapee.
The Thorne Building –
Home of the Lake Sunapee Protective Association, the highly respected and highly effective organization insuring that the water quality never is less than Class A purity, and the Sunapee Harbor Riverway. The Riverway’s office
is also located in this building and is staffed by long time resident Maureen McGrath Brandon.
The building is open year round Monday through
Friday.
The Brick Walkway - An example of the greater community working together to make a dramatic improvement in the Harbor. The walkway runs from the front of the Wild Goose Country Store to the boat launch driveway. Read the names of folks who demonstrated their pride in Sunapee Harbor by buying a brick. Names, dates, cryptic sentiments. Now the second phase is complete.

Boat Slips - SHRC continues to rent slips to boaters who may or may not reside in the area.
